What’s this white stuff, man?

Snowfall level came down to 3000 feet yesterday evening. Thick, fast and windy. A fun time to be up on the roof, trying to tie down a recalcitrant swamp-cooler cover.

What you’re seeing is what’s remained early this morning. The snow-line is at approximately 4000 feet in altitude, facing southeast toward The Park. The canyon in front is actually a fault line, branching off the Pinto Mountain Fault (which itself branches off the San Andreas Fault).
